Camera As Light Sensor is a free Android application developed by Denis Pauk under the Utilities & Tools category. The program's main feature is to use the camera to check the light value by capturing an image. It is important to note that this application does not save or send any images or data, nor does it change any system settings except for brightness.
One of the limitations of this app is that the camera-related screen brightness feature only works in the foreground. Additionally, data obtained from the camera, light sensor, GPS, or any other sensors are not used in the background. Finally, it is worth mentioning that changing the brightness by an unlock event is unsupported on Android 9+.
